Microgaming adds Portuguese depth via Solverde group deal

Micro-game announced the strengthening of its Portuguese presence after partnering with the Solverde Group, which he describes as “one of the biggest brands of games and hotels in Portugal”.

The two parties have reached a content agreement, which was signed through Prima Networks Limited, which will strengthen the group’s digital arm, Solverde.pt.

The Solverde Group has nearly 50 years of experience in casinos, tourism and entertainment, operating five land-based casinos and four hotels across the country. Solverde.pt offers over 1,200 online casino games, as well as sports betting.

Américo Loureiro, Director of the Solverde Group, said: “We are very happy to partner with Microgaming. Such an experienced and pioneering online gaming provider is a perfect match for Solverde.

“We have been operating casinos for almost 50 years and have the largest online portfolio in Portugal with over 1,200 casino games available anytime and anywhere at Solverde.pt.”

Solverde.pt, which is approved and licensed by the Portuguese Tourism Gambling Regulation and Inspection Service, will initially offer 28 games specially tailored to the market, including a range of titles from exclusive independent studios and Microgaming content partners.

In addition, the online operator will also have the opportunity to integrate more games through Microgaming’s aggregation platform in the coming months.

Rupert Dix, CEO of PNL, added: “The Portuguese regulated online gaming market is proving to be a success story and Solverde.pt is playing a leading role in this story.

“This is just the start of a great relationship that will grow and grow as we gradually develop our portfolio of securities for Portugal.”
