GGPoker recently hosted the Super Million $ Anniversary event, with a prize pool of $ 5 million and a buy-in of $ 10,300. The tournament offered five starting flights and after all of that was said and done, the event saw 567 entries. The prize pool was increased by $ 670,000 and online player “judd trump” took first place.
The player is no stranger to the $ Super Million, having reached the final table two other times. This time around, however, the cards were in his favor and he took the win, earning $ 976,379 along the way. All prices have been increased thanks to the strong participation of players in the event.
Last day details
When the last day started, it was Chris Frank who held the chip lead. He was the only player to start the day with 10 million tokens. Online player “judd trump” would be second in chips and would have to work his way through several top players like Adrian Mateos and Joakim Anderson to reach the end.
Fast forward to the final table, and Chris Frank still had the chip lead, and it wasn’t by a small margin. However, as the action continued, his competitors slowly began to munch on Frank’s rug. Eventually, he would go all-in and lose the hand, losing in fifth place.
It was shortly after that “judd trump” took the chip lead. He would eliminate a player, then the action of the GGPoker tournament would decrease until there was only âjudd Trumpâ and Andersson left. When the heads-up has started, Andersson will hold the chip lead. However, “judd Trump” would double down shortly after the start of the round and he would eventually take the win.
In the end, Andersson go all-in with his last five million in chips with 9-6 of spades. Keeping K-8 out of the suite, âJudd Trumpâ would call. The flop fell J-7-3 and didn’t help either player. A five of diamonds on the turn gave Andersson an out, but the five of hearts on the river didn’t help.
The victory in online poker would go to “judd trump”, Andersson having to settle for second place, earn $ 752,891. The finish was certainly exciting for “judd trump” as he made it to the Super Million $ final table two more times, only to be eliminated early on.
